Largest video game worlds

Courageousrobot from Reddit has created a pretty amazing visual comparison of some of gaming’s biggest worlds. Is San Andreas bigger than Azeroth? Is Oblivion bigger than Far Cry 2? And what's the biggest map out there? Click on the image to find out.

The price of immortality

Let me ask you: do you want to live forever? Everybody does. Just imagine: your ancestors will remember your name after thousands of years.
It's possible, but it'll cost ya. How much you're wondering? Look at this little list from Lapham's Quarterly to find out.

15 most killed

chacha.com made a list of Hollywood's 15 most killed actors. While some of these choices are debatable, the list is still nice. And I'm surprised to see Bruce "Die Hard" Willis on the 2nd place with more than 10 deaths.

Please read: a personal appeal from...

Ok, that face looks familiar. As you might know, this annoying banner at the top of every page wasn't the first Wiki's attempt to collect money from it's readers. Was it successful? More successful than the others? Click on that nice infographic from informationisbeautiful.net to find out.

50,000 gory, bloody dollars per day? That's just great. Also, if you're interested in other Wiki ads and their success, visit their banner-testing page.

Homer Simpson drawing guide

I'm not into drawing, but Matt Groening's "The Simpsons Handbook" caught my eye. Matt makes drawing his characters as easy as possible. By using this book, you can draw any "Simpsons" character just by combining simple geometric figures. I'm uploading one page, that shows Homer's head step-by-step drawing.

Star Wars Episode IV Icons

Let me introduce you to one of the works of Wayne Dorrington. He's a UK designer who works with data visualization. His blog was available here (the site is offline at the moment)

During your lifetime you will...

This pic from executivehm.com made me smile.
They polled 3000 adults to find out how many times can a normal person repeat one thing.

I don't agree with some of that numbers. For example, that information about beans looks exaggerated: nobody eats that much baked beans these days. But, despite of a few mistakes, this infographic is still great, so I'm posting it here.

3D

Have you ever wondered to yourself how do those 3d glasses work? Now diagram-o-rama will help you to figure that out with help from this little slashfilm.com infographic.

Popular passwords

As you might know, two months ago Gawker Media's servers were hacked and 1,25 million passwords leaked online. Here is a list of most popular passwords used by Gawker users.

"Primer"

Did you enjoy that "Primer" movie as much as i did?
A couple of days ago I was looking through good ol' xkcd comics and found this:

Well, the movie actually was "a bit" confusing. After some googling I found a real Primer visual timeline here.

This diagram isn't useful, but fun to try to figure out. If they will invent a time machine one day, then your daily life will be messed up like this. Being in nine places at the same time? You bet!
